UPDATE \u2014 1\/15\/26, 3 a.m. ET<\/strong>: The mystery of who Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong> was talking to at the 2026 Golden Globes continues.<\/p>\n

After initially believing that DiCaprio was talking to her about KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>, Teyana Taylor<\/strong> clarified on the Wednesday, January 14, episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em> that she called the actor, and it seems he had two different conversations about the movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday, I thought I broke the Da Vinci Code,\u201d she told host Jimmy Fallon<\/strong>. \u201cWhen I first seen it \u2014 I didn\u2019t watch the whole thing \u2014 I was like, \u2018Oh, you\u2019re talking about KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>. He was talking about me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor continued, \u201cBut then I watched it [properly], and they were doing the lip-read thing, and I had to call Leo. I\u2019m like, \u2018I wasn\u2019t asking you\u2026\u2019 I knew exactly what KPop<\/em> was because Chase [Infiniti]<\/strong> taught me. So I was like, \u2018You can\u2019t be talking to me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo apparently he had two KPop Demon Hunters <\/em>conversations that night, so KPop Demon Hunters<\/em> was just in his mouth all night!\u201d she quipped. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Who else are you kiki\u2019ing with like that?\u2019 Because literally that\u2019s how we kiki [by making hand gestures]. So I had a little friendly jealousy. I was like, \u2018Who else are you chewing your invisible gum with?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor concluded, \u201cHe don\u2019t even remember who he was talking to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Teyana<\/strong> Taylor<\/strong> solved the mystery of Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong>\u2019s viral 2026 Golden Globes video.<\/p>\n

Taylor, 35, confirmed while walking The Rip<\/em> premiere red carpet in New York City on Tuesday, January 13, that she was the one DiCaprio, 51, was talking to about K-pop across the table.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you think of the viral K-pop Leo video?\u201d one reporter asked as Taylor shuffled down the red carpet in a daring black outfit. Taylor was quick to respond \u2014 and reveal what the internet was dying to know.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, my God. He was talking to me,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s what makes it even funnier.\u201d<\/p>\n

DiCaprio went viral on Sunday, January 11, after he looked rather animated during a commercial break during the Golden Globes, per a video shared via social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was watching you with the K-pop thing,\u201d DiCaprio appeared to be saying in the clip, talking to Taylor while pointing and laughing. \u201cYou were like, \u2018Is that? K-pop?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

He clapped and laughed at Taylor, but her reaction was not captured on video.<\/p>\n

DiCaprio and Taylor starred in last year\u2019s critically acclaimed film One Battle After Another<\/em>, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson<\/strong>, which has been collecting numerous awards so far this year.<\/p>\n

Taylor, for one, took home the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy gratitude is endless. I love you, we love you, and thank you so much for holding space for me and our entire cast,\u201d the actress said while taking the stage, giving a shout-out to \u201cevery single person who has touched this project.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> brought up Taylor\u2019s mention of gratitude while chatting with her exclusively at The Rip<\/em> red carpet on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s so important, because I think through everything and through blessings, these are things that we pray for,\u201d Taylor explained when asked why it\u2019s so important that she puts gratitude first. \u201cWhen you get that, you should always be grateful and filled with gratitude. That\u2019s what it feels like for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
