Chase Infiniti<\/strong> plays June\u2019s daughter in The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em> spinoff \u2014 but she didn\u2019t meet Elisabeth Moss<\/strong> until she was nearly done filming The Testaments<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI actually didn\u2019t get to meet Elisabeth Moss really until the end [of filming],\u201d Infiniti, 25, told People<\/em> earlier this month.<\/p>\n Infiniti, who plays Hannah a.k.a Agnes on the upcoming Hulu show, recalled Moss\u2019 advice to her, adding, \u201cBut she kind of immediately after I met her, wrapped me into a big hug and was kind of like, \u2018You got this. You got this. OK? You got it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Based on Margaret Atwood<\/strong>\u2019s novel of the same name, The Handmaid\u2019s Tale,<\/strong> which aired from 2017 to 2025, took place in a dystopian future where low fertility rates led women to be assigned to men for bearing children. Alongside Moss, Yvonne Strahovski, Madeline Brewer, Ann Dowd, O-T Fagbenle, Max Minghella<\/strong> and Amanda Brugel<\/strong> led the cast of the show over the years.<\/p>\n The Testaments<\/em>, which premieres April 8 and is set 15 years later, is narrated by Ann Dowd\u2019s Aunt Lydia as viewers are thrust back into the dystopian future with characters such as Agnes from Gilead and Daisy from Canada \u2014 as they secretly gather and smuggle incriminating information about Gilead\u2019s regime out of the country. Agnes and Daisy pose as \u201cPearl Girls\u201d to infiltrate Canada, while Aunt Lydia acts as a covert source within Gilead.<\/p>\n In addition to Infiniti and Dowd, The Testaments stars Lucy Halliday, Eva Foote, Rowan Blanchard, Kira Guloien, Amy Seimet<\/strong>z and Brad Alexander. Birva Pandya, Zarrin Darnell-Martin, Mattea Conforti, Shechinah Mpumlwana, Mabel Li<\/strong> and Isolde Ardies<\/strong> make up the rest of the cast.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are making The Testaments, and it\u2019s not going to track precisely,\u201d creator Bruce Miller<\/strong> told TVLine in 2022. \u201cMargaret writes these absolutely deliciously specific characters. We had to go away from that in Handmaid\u2019s, and we\u2019re going to have to go away from that in Testaments.
