The new release date comes in the immediate wake of Ready or Not 2<\/em>\u2018s world premiere at SXSW (no specific premiere date yet, but the fest runs from March 12-18 in Austin, TX). Big spring break weekend on Friday, March 20 with Comscore showing 38% K-12 on break with 37% colleges off as well. The new release date for the Radio Silence directed movie is the pre-Easter frame and it\u2019s going up against Warner Bros\/New Line horror movie They Will Kill You<\/em>. Hmmmm.<\/p>\n \n\tMeanwhile, Ridley Scott\u2019s Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Guy Pearce, Margaret Qualley, and Benedict Wong sci fi thriller The Dog Stars, <\/em>goes from March 27 next year to summer\u2019s penultimate weekend on Aug. 28, 2026. Pic\u2019s blurb: In a post-apocalyptic world, a virus wipes out humanity. Survivors face roaming scavengers called Reapers. Protagonist Hig, a pilot, survived the flu but lost his wife. On Aug. 28 already there\u2019s Ketchup\u2019s Coyote vs. Acme, <\/em>and K Row\u2019s Cliffhanger. <\/em><\/p>\n \n\tAlso, Pixar\u2019s Italian-set Gatto <\/em>about a black cat named Nero, who is indebted to a feline mob boss, goes from June 18, 2027 up to March 5, 2027. Pic is directed by Enrico Casarosa. Disney already had March 5 on hold. Already on that date is an untitled Warner Bros movie and Amazon MGM Studio\u2019s Michael B. Jordan directed and starring reboot of The Thomas Crown Affair. <\/em><\/p>\n \n\tAmong the untitled Disney RSVP\u2019s on the calendar, the studio has dropped Sept. 11 and Nov. 6 in 2026. They took their reserved slot for March 5, 2027 and shifted it to June 18, 2027. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
