Justin Hartley<\/strong> is setting up his first onscreen Smallville<\/em> \u2014 and Arrow<\/em> \u2014 reunions with alums from both shows set to appear on Tracker<\/em> following several cast exits.<\/p>\n

Erica Durance<\/strong>, who played Lois Lane on the Superman prequel series, is set to star in an episode later this season. According to Matt Mitovich<\/strong>\u2018s Inside Line, the actress, 47, will appear in the March 22 episode as Laura, who is described as \u201ca stuntwoman who brings in Hartley\u2019s expert tracker Colter Shaw when her boyfriend disappears from a film set.\u201d<\/p>\n

Durance\u2019s onscreen husband will be played by David Ramsey<\/strong> a.k.a John Diggle from Arrow. This marks several reunions for Hartley, 48, who played Oliver Queen in The WB series before the story of the Green Arrow was adapted again for The CW with Stephen Amell<\/strong> in the key role.<\/p>\n

Since Tracker<\/em> premiered on CBS in 2024, Hartley has found a way to stage crossovers with his former costars from projects such as Smallville<\/em> and This Is Us<\/em>. So far, Jensen Ackles, Jennifer Morrison<\/strong> and Sofia Pernas<\/strong> have appeared on the show after working with Hartley on other projects.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJustin Hartley\u2018s Tracker costars have often spoken about their experiences working with him before the hit CBS series lost three cast members ahead of season 3. After becoming a household name with roles in Passions, Smallville, The Young and the Restless and This Is Us, Hartley scored a major career success with Tracker. Tracker<\/em>, however, has also dealt with its fair share of departures. The procedural faces changes when Robin Weigert<\/strong> exited the show after being a series regular in the first season. It was later confirmed that Abby McEnany <\/strong>and Eric Graise<\/strong> would be leaving the show as well.<\/p>\n

Executive producer Elwood Reid<\/strong> previously teased more onscreen changes in the show\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do think it\u2019s evolving. If I can\u2019t evolve those characters \u2014 Randy or Reenie or Bobby \u2014 they\u2019re not just people that just pick up the phone and go, \u2018OK, here is the answer.\u2019 That\u2019s when the show is phoning it in,\u201d he explained to Us Weekly<\/em> in May 2025. \u201cThe challenge is when you got to learn about them, which I thought was interesting. That\u2019s the challenge of the show is not having it fall into a formula.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reid noted that they didn\u2019t want Tracker<\/em> to \u201cfall into complacency.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only rule I really have of the show is each week Colter is going to come to a new place and there\u2019s going to be a new case. How he gets those answers and what he uses on the team, that\u2019s all something that\u2019s up for grabs,\u201d Reid teased. \u201cMeeting these [local] weird characters is something we\u2019re going to try to do more of as the season goes on. Just Colter coming in and interacting with other characters. That\u2019s fun to see Justin flex those muscles with really good guest cast members.\u201d<\/p>\n
