Us Weekly confirmed that Kristy filed for divorce from Desmond in December 2025 after 11 years of marriage. In her filing, Kristy cited alleged infidelity as the reason for her split from Desmond. The docs stated that there is no chance [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cSo happy for you, I pray that blessings continue to flow in you and your children\u2019s lives \ud83d\ude4c\ud83c\udffe,\u201d another person added.<\/p>\n Kristy\u2019s YSL campaign comes one month after she filed for divorce from Desmond, 31, with whom she shares sons Vance, 7, and Westin, 6. In her December 2025 divorce petition, obtained by Us Weekly<\/em>, Kristy claimed that her estranged husband of nearly 12 years \u201ccommitted adultery.\u201d Additionally, she stated that their marriage \u201chas become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities,\u201d adding that his alleged infidelity \u201cdestroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.\u201d<\/p>\n Kristy revealed in her divorce filing that she and Desmond plan to enter a written agreement about custody, access and support regarding their kids. If they\u2019re unable to agree on these terms, Kristy requested that the court decide for them.<\/p>\n Kristy also requested to have her surname legally changed back to her maiden name, Small. She demanded that Desmond be responsible for her attorney\u2019s fees, court costs and expenses related to their divorce.<\/p>\n Desmond broke his silence regarding Kristy\u2019s divorce filing on January 10.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to begin by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation,\u201d he wrote via Instagram. \u201cI know this news has been disappointing for many, and I\u2019m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused. Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been.\u201d<\/p>\n Desmond continued, \u201cKristy and I faced challenges and made sincere efforts to work through them. Toward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and I had conversations with Kristy regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately, we decided to divorce.
