Monday\u2019s reports claim that Wolverhampton Wanderers have rejected a bid from Roma for left-back David M\u00f8ller Wolfe, as the Giallorossi seek a potential replacement for Kostas Tsimikas, who could return to Liverpool ahead of schedule.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to reports from various outlets including <\/span>Fabrizio Romano<\/span>, Roma have opened negotiations over a permanent deal for Wolves full-back Wolfe, who has made 18 appearances for the Norway national team since 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Updates from <\/span>Ben Jacobs<\/span> indicate that Wolves have turned down the opening bid from the Giallorossi, which is said to be in the region of \u20ac8m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wolves reportedly paid a fee of around \u20ac11.5m (\u00a310m) potentially rising to just shy of \u20ac14m (\u00a312.1m) to sign Wolfe from AZ Alkmaar during the summer transfer window.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 23-year-old has struggled to nail down a place in Wolves\u2019s starting line-up since then, though, and has played for just three minutes across the last five Premier League matches, remaining as an unused substitute for the last three.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Roma are on the lookout for a new left-sided wing-back to replace Kostas Tsimikas, who seems increasingly likely to return to Liverpool after an underwhelming loan spell in the Italian capital in 2025-26.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Roma director <\/span>Ricky Massara confirmed on Sunday<\/span> that \u201cwe are in a dialogue with Liverpool\u201d over a potential termination of Tsimikas\u2019s loan deal, and that \u201cwe\u2019ll see how that evolves over the next few days.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n
