There were eight confirmed weather-related fatalities in Tennessee, according to the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, as of Tuesday, January 27.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cNo power still but there are linemen finally near,\u201d country singer <strong><span class=\"s1\">Maren Morris<\/span><\/strong> wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, while bundled up in her warmed winter coat. \u201cA lot of damage to repair, but a silver [sic] of hope.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Jessie James Decker<\/strong><\/span> shared footage of her husband, <strong><span class=\"s1\">Eric Decker<\/span><\/strong>, shoveling the family\u2019s front yard in between cutting down tree branches and collecting firewood.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWhile other women say \u2018I don\u2019t need a man,\u2019 I just smile, because I very much need mine,\u201d she wrote via <span class=\"s1\">Instagram<\/span> on Tuesday. \u201cAnd I\u2019ll have supper on the table for ya when you come in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As the region braces for another cold blast over the weekend, keep reading to see what some of Nashville\u2019s biggest stars experienced during the storm:<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Shawn Johnson East<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Olympic gymnast <strong>Shawn Johnson East<\/strong> was one of thousands of residents who lost power during the storm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cThat\u2019s our house and now my parents without power,\u201d Johnson East, 34, shared via her Instagram Story on Tuesday. \u201cWe came to my parents when ours went out and a tree took out our electrical panel. Going on 4 days now without power and not an end in sight yet. Now my parents just went out so we have to game plan of where to go. 4 adults, 3 kids and 6 animals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">According to Johnson East, \u201cmost everyone\u201d was leaving the city because \u201cit\u2019s just way too cold.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cEven fireplaces aren\u2019t keeping up or people are running out of supplies or wood,\u201d she claimed. \u201cWe don\u2019t have generators. Not super common in Nashville. Will for sure be the first thing we get when we get through this. Generator and cleaning up 100 tires.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Jessie James Decker<\/b><\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DT_uXAqjbuU\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">As a resident of Tennessee since 2007, country singer Jessie James Decker said she has \u201cnever seen anything like this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cTo all the line workers and first responders, thank you. \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffd,\u201d she wrote via <span class=\"s1\">Instagram<\/span> on Tuesday. \u201cWe can\u2019t even imagine what you\u2019re going through or how tirelessly you\u2019re working to help our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Lauren Lane\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>The Bachelor<\/i><\/span> alum <strong>Lauren Lane<\/strong> shared a glimpse into what her neighborhood looked like as she tried to help the birds that visit her home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cNashville looks so, so sad right now. So many trees down and destruction,\u201d she wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday. \u201cI\u2019ve been feeding them daily. They have been devouring food. My feeder came off the window. It was so cold, but they are hungry birdies.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Chyler Leigh<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Hallmark actress <strong>Chyler Leigh<\/strong> didn\u2019t take any chances before Winter Storm Fern arrived in her city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cI prepped as well as I could for this ice storm. Truly. I have my kids and my pets with me so I didn\u2019t take an iota of situation without great concern beforehand,\u201d she wrote via <span class=\"s1\">Instagram<\/span> on Tuesday. \u201cThat said, I\u2019ve been without power since Sunday morning. I\u2019ve had a multitude of large trees and limbs fall in my yard (luckily no structural damage). It honestly sounded like mini explosions as the actual scene unfolded. Trees crashing as they succumbed to the weight of the ice. Very eerie.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Ashley Wahler<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>The Hills<\/i><\/span> alum <strong>Ashley Wahler<\/strong> couldn\u2019t believe what she saw in her community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cStill SOOOOOO many people without power. I have never seen so much destruction. I don\u2019t think anybody was really prepared for this level of devastation,\u201d he shared via <span class=\"s1\">Instagram<\/span> on Tuesday. \u201cWe\u2019re very fortunate to have great friends who have helped us out. We\u2019re thankful for the workers working tirelessly to try and get power back on for everyone. This aftermath of this storm is keeping 200,000 \u2013 220,000 people without power since Saturday. People are freezing. 8 people have died,\u201d she wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, January 28. \u201cThe roads are impassible. The power is out in hospitals and shelters.
