CFA Michael Collins of WinCap Financial, who has worked in wealth management since 2012, said Amazon \u201clooks fully priced\u201d on WinCap\u2019s quant screens. \u201cThe stock ranks poorly relative to peers in the Mag 7, with valuation stretched and capital efficiency not keeping pace.\u201d<\/p>\n
Collins explained that Amazon\u2019s returns could disappoint. \u201cWhen expectations are this high, and the numbers don\u2019t back it up, returns tend to disappoint,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Managing costs is just as vital as managing revenue,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n Hoory also pointed to AWS and artificial intelligence (AI). \u201cAWS is something investors always watch, no matter what. Moreover, with AI, competition is fierce. Amazon\u2019s benefit, however, is time. It has been around for years, and if the market is stable, investors are bound to lean towards them,\u201d Hoory said.\u00a0\u201cAmazon doesn\u2019t rely on any \u2018cloud storage boom\u2019 \u2014 the truth is investors care more about margins than expansion, and Amazon is seen as something durable, stable and far from speculative.\u201d<\/p>\n
