Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini raged at journalists after a 1-0 loss against Udinese on Monday: \u2018If we don\u2019t qualify for the Champions League, the coach will be changed, and that\u2019s the end of the story.\u2019<\/p>\n

Roma slipped out of the top four last night, facing a 1-0 away loss at Udinese.<\/p>\n

Gasperini held a post-match press conference with Italian reporters after his interview with Sky Sport, but lost his temper when asked about the many young players signed by Roma in January.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou need to make up your mind. One of you asked me to talk about the Champions League, the other one about a U23 team,\u201d Gasp said via TMW.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou need to make up your mind, or you\u2019ll always be unhappy, even about tonight\u2019s performance. One always looks to the result. I\u2019m very satisfied with the performance.<\/p>\n

Gasp tells Roma: \u2018Change coach\u2019 without Champions League<\/h2>\n

\u201cThen, if we don\u2019t qualify for the Champions League, the coach will be changed, and that\u2019s the end of the story. Failed target, end of the story.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gasperini stressed that reporters should focus on the team\u2019s performance and long-term development rather than only on results, and his suggestion that he\u2019d be sacked at the end of the season if he fails to qualify for the Champions League should, at this point, be regarded merely as a provocation.<\/p>\n

The reporter asked once more whether the Roma boss expected to sign more experienced players in the winter transfer window.<\/p>\n
