Earlier this week, he received the expected sentence.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Man Digs Up Wife\u2019s Remains, Sexually Assaults Body | Oxygen\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gITT2ntsmwI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-search-for-missing-mom-ends-in-tragedy\">Search for missing mom ends in tragedy<\/h2>\n<p>Castillo, a mother of two, went missing from her home on November 10, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Her sister tells KABC that she arrived at Rachel\u2019s home to find the residence covered in blood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs soon as I saw the blood, that\u2019s when I realized something wasn\u2019t right,\u201d she told the outlet. <\/p>\n<p>She explained that she called her mother and then called 911, fearing the worst.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was running around the house trying to see if I could find her somewhere,\u201d said the sister.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI checked her bathroom, under her bed, her closet, my closet, the laundry room, my bathroom and my bedroom but she wasn\u2019t anywhere in there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Police confirmed that they found \u201ca significant amount of blood\u201d at the scene, as well as evidence that \u201ca struggle occurred inside.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ali repeatedly told police that he does not know why he committed the brutal murder, but he notes that the crime had been on his mind since he and Castillo separated, nine months prior.<\/p>\n<p>Our thoughts go out to Rachel Castillo\u2019s loved ones as they continue to process this horrific tragedy.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reading Time: 2 minutes Back in November, Zarbab Ali was convicted of murdering his wife and desecrating her corpse.
