But, as hardened as my exterior has become, it\u2019s no match for JLab\u2019s latest concoction\u2014a huge-ass, wacky-ass pair of headphone speakers befitting a <em>Lord of the Rings<\/em>-sized troll head.<\/p>\n<p>When I say \u201chuge,\u201d I mean <em>huge, <\/em>folks. The idea here is that you\u2019re not really supposed to wear them on your head, at least not in the traditional sense, because they don\u2019t fit. Instead, they\u2019re designed to be used as Bluetooth speakers that you can drape around your neck or prop up on a table or awkwardly hold up to your ears until you go deaf or something. Surprisingly, JLab says you\u2019ll get 20 hours of playtime out of this monstrosity, but I guess that does kind of make sense given the fact that they\u2019re gigantic and therefore also have a gigantic battery. Honestly, the price isn\u2019t bad considering it\u2019s literally a lot of materials\u2014these chonkers will cost you $99. Steal, really.<\/p>\n<p>More than anything, I\u2019m just kind of speechless that these exist. I\u2019m really not sure who these are for, but, as a fun exercise, I\u2019ve compiled a shortlist of who JLab may be targeting with this particular gadget:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pee-Wee Herman<\/li>\n<li>People who are into infantilism<\/li>\n<li>Clifford the Big Red Dog<\/li>\n<li>Someone who really needs attention<\/li>\n<li>The same people who feel the need to drive Ford F-150s even though they don\u2019t haul anything ever<\/li>\n<li>The world\u2019s biggest JLab fan, no pun intended<\/li>\n<li>Literally, God<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I don\u2019t know; that\u2019s really all I got for you. They\u2019re huge speaker headphones that make your head look tiny. There\u2019s simultaneously not much to them and also <em>so\u00a0<\/em>much to them. At the very least, it\u2019s something silly to take your mind off all the not-so-silly stuff happening in the world.
