Jamie Vardy\u2019s storied Leicester City chapter came to an end last season, but the 38-year-old cult hero is already making headlines in Italy after joining Serie A side Cremonese.<\/strong><\/p>\n Vardy signed an initial one-year deal with the newly promoted club \u2013 which includes an option for a further 12 months \u2013 and so far, the move is going smoothly. Cremonese are unbeaten and sitting third in the table, Vardy has made his debut, and reports suggest he and wife Rebekah are settling nicely into la dolce vita<\/em> with their two children.<\/p>\n The couple have bought a \u00a32m villa in Sal\u00f2 \u2013 historically infamous as Benito Mussolini\u2019s home base, and coincidentally now the hometown of Vardy\u2019s new teammate, Romano Mussolini (the dictator\u2019s great-grandson). <\/p>\n Alongside enjoying their new surroundings, the Vardys are also taking Italian lessons. Jamie, however, is said to be particularly enjoying the more colourful parts of the vocabulary.<\/p>\n \u201cJamie and Becky are already loving Italian life and doing all they can to blend in seamlessly. The whole family is having Italian lessons, and Jamie is already au fait with some of the more colourful swear words,\u201d a source told The Sun<\/em>.<\/p>\n Apparently, his favourite so far is \u201cVaffanculo\u201d <\/em>\u2013 a not-so-polite phrase that loosely translates to \u201cget lost.\u201d<\/p>\n It fits perfectly with Vardy\u2019s reputation: he\u2019s previously said to have deliberately learned swear words in the languages of his Premier League opponents to wind them up during games. Now, it seems he\u2019s bringing that cheeky skillset to Serie A \u2013 meaning Italian defenders might be getting more than just a headache from chasing him around.<\/p>\n
