All of my gratitude to our cast, crew, writers, producers, fans, and of course CBS and CBS Studios. It\u2019s been a beautiful ride!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Multiple outlets including <em>Deadline<\/em> reported that a replacement for Napolitano hasn\u2019t been found yet. She has been with the show since it premiered on CBS in 2022. The CBS series, which premiered in 2022, follows inmate Bode (Max Thieriot) as he attempts to shorten his prison sentence by volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program. After being assigned [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201c[You should] be worried. We\u2019ve got Bode and Tyler in a fire shelter in the middle of a blaze. Those things are built for one, there\u2019s two lives in there,\u201d the executive producer shared in December 2025. \u201cAnd we\u2019ve got Jake and his brother over the side of a cliff. You see how many times that vehicle goes over and over. He has made those good choices \u2014 though he still struggles \u2014 and winning those struggles and really becoming someone who can continue to be someone Tyler wants to grow up to be,\u201d she said. \u201cBode is a role model. Look how far we have come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued: \u201cEve is going to find her way with these new guys at Three Roc. Sharon is learning even more so how to stand on her own. Ruby \u2014 her mother \u2014 comes back. There\u2019s a lot of surprises, twists and turns, and drive coming out of that twist that comes at the end of the midseason premiere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Fire Country<\/em> has received backlash after season 3 ended on a cliffhanger with Vince and Sharon\u2019s lives left in the balance. News broke hours after the finale aired in April 2025 that budget cuts led to <strong>Billy Burke<\/strong> and <strong>Stephanie Arcila<\/strong>\u2018s exits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a fire show. Anyone can go at any time,\u201d Napolitano told Us in October 2025. \u201cBut in terms of losing people, we\u2019re also adding some really fun guest cast. It\u2019s a revolving door of people from Sharon\u2019s past and new faces that are exciting to bring conflict and secrets and twists and turns.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Napolitano teased how the show will have to balance \u201creally spicing it up\u201d while still walking a \u201cfine line\u201d of paying tribute to the loss.<\/p>\n<div id=\"news-block\">\n<div class=\"newsletter-form  \">\n<div class=\"newsletter-signup__success\" aria-live=\"polite\">\n<h3>Thank You!<\/h3>\n<p>You have successfully subscribed.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>\u201cWhat we\u2019ve done is really thread the needle of honoring \u2014 especially Vince \u2014 because Gabriella is gone, but she\u2019s gone to a happy and successful life. She\u2019s still out there. But we really walk this line of honoring Vince while also finding hope rather quickly,\u201d she noted. \u201cLooking forward, the theme of the season is rising from the ashes and recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Napolitano continued: \u201cHow do you recover from something like this? And we\u2019re really going to see everybody rise to the occasion, in celebration of Vince, of his life and in honoring the sacrifice that he made.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Fire Country<\/em> returns to CBS on Friday, February 27, at 9 p.m. ET.
