He lost hope after not booking his first audition, which is when Bobbie (McEntire) stepped in to offer some advice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou lost out on one role, you will get the next one,\u201d she told Steve, who fired back, \u201cNo I won\u2019t. The skill to be a great actor is rare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cYou have to be born with it. Reba, which aired from 2001 to 2007, starred McEntire, Melissa Peterman, Christopher Rich, JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Steve Howey. Nearly two decades later, McEntire and Peterman reunited with former Reba executive producer Kevin Abbott on [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Baldwins are a family of performers with <strong>Alec Baldwin<\/strong> leading the charge. He is the eldest of brothers <strong>Daniel Baldwin, William Baldwin <\/strong>and<strong> Stephen Baldwin<\/strong>. <em>Happy\u2019s Place<\/em> has found creative ways to poke fun at pop culture in the past \u2014 with a November 2025 episode of the show featuring a joke about <strong>Al Pacino<\/strong> becoming a father again at age 83.<\/p>\n<p><em>Happy\u2019s Place<\/em> centers around Bobbie as she inherits her father\u2019s restaurant and discovers a new business partner in her long-lost half-sister (<strong>Belissa Escobedo<\/strong>). The show also stars <strong>Melissa Peterman, Rex Linn, Pablo Castelblanco<\/strong> and <strong>Tokala Black Elk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The NBC sitcom brought McEntire, 70, and Peterman, 54, back together more than 17 years after their hit series Reba ended its six-year run on The WB. Reba also starred <strong>Scarlett Pomers <\/strong>and<strong> Mitch Holleman<\/strong>, both of whom have yet to make a cameo after <strong>Chris Rich <\/strong>and<strong> Steve Howey<\/strong> appeared in season 1. (<strong>JoAnna Garcia Swisher<\/strong> is set to appear on the show later this season.)<\/p>\n<p>Before the show returned for season 2, McEntire and Escobedo, 27, shared how they were excited for viewers to see how much <em>Happy\u2019s Place<\/em> has evolved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a great place to be. We know our audience, we know each other better and we\u2019ve gelled. We didn\u2019t have that big of a break between the first season ending and second season beginning so we just fell right back into it,\u201d McEntire exclusively told <em>Us Weekly<\/em>. \u201cWe\u2019re bonding a lot more. We\u2019re a tight knit family \u2014 although [Belissa and I] are the only ones that are blood related on the show.
