Selena Gomez<\/strong> is showing off her natural beauty!<\/p>\n

Posting via her Instagram Story on Friday, January 16, Only Murders in the Building<\/em> star shared a makeup-free selfie and looked as gorgeous as ever.<\/p>\n

The Rare Beauty cosmetics founder, 33, was all smiles in the snap as she posed casually with her hand resting gently on the side of her forehead as she looked towards the camera.<\/p>\n

Gomez has been outspoken about her self-confidence journey when it comes to beauty and her body after being regularly scrutinized while growing up as a public figure.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing in the public eye from such an early age certainly comes with a lot of pressure. It\u2019s hard to feel comfortable when you feel like everyone is watching, judging and commenting on the way you look,\u201d she told Glamour UK<\/em> in December 2022. \u201cSelf-confidence is still something I work on daily, but when I stopped trying to conform to society\u2019s unrealistic standards of beauty, my perspective entirely shifted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gomez launched Rare Beauty in September 2020, according to the brand\u2019s website, with the goal of \u201cbreaking down unrealistic standards of perfection. \u201d<\/p>\n

The Disney alum explained how she thought her brand could play a role in lifting people up and not feel bad about themselves.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cI think Rare Beauty can be more than a beauty brand \u2014 it can make an impact. I want us all to stop comparing ourselves to each other and just start embracing our own uniqueness,\u201d Gomez said.<\/p>\n

In a separate interview with the Glamour UK<\/em> published in February 2022, the \u201cLose You to Love Me\u201d singer further detailed her ups and downs with her confidence surrounding the way she looks.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt took me a long time to realize that I only wanted to be myself \u2013 that what made me unique was also what made me beautiful,\u201d she shared with the outlet at the time.<\/p>\n

In March 2025, Gomez slammed strangers for body shaming her during an appearance on the \u201cOn Purpose with Jay Shetty\u201d podcast and revealed how the negative comments have affected her over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy weight\u2019s a big [issue]. Everyone just has something to say and it\u2019s really making me sad and \u2014 not even sad because, I\u2019m not a victim, everyone \u2014 I just think it\u2019s made me a tad bitter and I feel really guilty for saying that but it\u2019s true,\u201d Gomez said on the podcast.<\/p>\n
