Feb 19 (Reuters) – Senior executives from global artificial intelligence firms joined world leaders in India this week for a major AI summit.<\/p>\n

Here \u200cis a list of all the major deals struck during the India \u200cAI Impact Summit in New Delhi.<\/p>\n

INDIA’S RELIANCE INDUSTRIES, JIO TO INVEST $110 BILLION<\/p>\n

Conglomerate Reliance Industries and its \u200btelecom arm Jio will invest $109.8 billion over the next seven years to build artificial intelligence and data infrastructure, its billionaire chairman Mukesh Ambani said on Thursday.<\/p>\n

INDIA’S ADANI GROUP TO COMMIT $100 BILLION FOR AI DATA CENTRES THROUGH 2030<\/p>\n

The ports-to-power Adani Group \u200csaid on Tuesday it would \u2060invest $100 billion for renewable energy-powered AI data centres by 2035.<\/p>\n

Adani said that the investment is expected to trigger an additional $150 billion \u2060across related industries, including server manufacturing and sovereign cloud platforms.<\/p>\n

Together, this is projected to create a $250 billion AI infrastructure ecosystem in India over the decade, it added.<\/p>\n

MICROSOFT \u200bTO INVEST $50 \u200bBILLION IN ‘GLOBAL SOUTH’ BY 2030<\/p>\n

Microsoft on Wednesday \u200bsaid it is on pace \u200cto invest $50 billion by the end of the decade to help expand AI to countries across the ‘Global South’.<\/p>\n

The firm had unveiled $17.5 billion worth of AI investments in India last year.<\/p>\n

INDIAN DATA CENTRE FIRM YOTTA COMMITS $2 BILLION FOR AI HUB<\/p>\n

Yotta Data Services said on Wednesday it will build one of Asia’s largest AI \u200ccomputing hubs using Nvidia’s latest Blackwell Ultra chips, \u200bin a project costing more than $2 billion.<\/p>\n

INDIAN IT \u200bSERVICES EXPORTER TCS SIGNS OPENAI \u200bAS DATA CENTRE CUSTOMER<\/p>\n

Tata Consultancy Services has signed up ChatGPT \u200cparent OpenAI as its first customer \u200bfor its data centre \u200bunit under the global AI infrastructure initiative Stargate, the companies said on Thursday.<\/p>\n

INDIA’S L&T, NVIDIA TO BUILD INDIA’S LARGEST AI FACTORY<\/p>\n

Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro \u200bannounced a proposed venture \u200cwith Nvidia to build AI-ready data centre infrastructure, advanced computing platforms, \u200band ecosystem enablement required to support large-scale AI workloads.<\/p>\n
