Praying that everyone is enjoying their Christmas! \ud83c\udf84\ud83c\udf81,\u201d the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 49, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, December 25. Burruss included a photo of herself, Tucker, 52, and their [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cAfter deep thought and a lot of prayer, I\u2019ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,\u201d Burrus said in a statement to <em>Us Weekly<\/em> at the time. \u201cI\u2019m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family and my growth. I\u2019m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Less than a month later, Burruss revealed that she would be spending the holidays with her ex despite their split.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Watch TODAY with Jenna &amp; Sheinelle Full Episode - January 16\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mm1E-gfdGg8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cYa\u2019ll already know I\u2019m going through a divorce, but we have decided that we are still going to do Christmas together,\u201d Burruss, who is mom to Riley, 23, Ace, 9, and Blaze, 6, said on a December 15 episode of her <em>Amazon Live<\/em> broadcast. \u201cEven though we have all this mess going on right now, we still gonna do it together for our kids, so we are spending Christmas in New York.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to remaining committed to developing a healthy and sustainable coparenting relationship with her ex for the sake of their children, Burruss is also throwing herself into work, including her role as Ang\u00e9lique in the hit musical <em>&amp; Juliet<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[The show] definitely helped,\u201d Burruss said on Friday of how work has helped her navigate her divorce. \u201cWhen I decided to do this show is right when \u2026 in the thick of it, exactly. Burruss, 49, posted a Wednesday, December 3, Instagram Reel that displayed photos of her smiling with friends and family. However, her caption revealed that, privately, she was battling darker times.\u00a0 \u201cThis is what I look like [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>She continued, \u201cSo for me it\u2019s like singing, performing, you know, learning to be better, make myself better \u2014 work out more, you now, work on my vocals, do everything that I\u2019m supposed to do to make sure I\u2019m the best I can be on stage in front of everybody. Behind the scenes I might be breaking down but I have to keep it together, you know.
