It\u2019s very embarrassing,\u201d she recalled to the outlet. \u201cImagine if you were learning to sing, and all your lessons had been filmed and broadcast. It\u2019s just an uncomfortable experience. I think the imposter syndrome remains, but I don\u2019t think there\u2019s any actor who doesn\u2019t have that.\u201d<\/p>\n Game of Thrones <\/i>aired from 2011 to 2019, after which Turner kept getting approached to star in other historical or fantasy films and TV shows.<\/p>\n \u201cI got sent so many period dramas about princesses who start off weak and end up learning and developing and growing into strength,\u201d she said. \u201cI had to separate myself from all that. After Game of Thrones<\/i> finished, I didn\u2019t know what was up and what was down. I remember having to act being in love before I\u2019d ever been in love. That\u2019s part of the job \u2014 to sit in the discomfort of feeling so that we can bring it to the table.\u201d<\/p>\n Turner, who began dating Jonas in 2016 at the height of Game of Thrones<\/i>\u2019 <\/i>popularity, now balances her thriving career with motherhood.<\/p>\n \u201cThe mum guilt is there forever,\u201d Turner told Net-a-Porter\u2019s Porter <\/i>in a profile published earlier this month. \u201cI work all week and then, on the weekends, I\u2019ll spend all day with my kids each day.
