\n\tFinn Wolfhard is ready to take on \u201cadult films\u201d after the conclusion of Netflix phenomenon Stranger Things<\/em>, the actor joked during his Saturday Night Live<\/em> opening monologue, which was crashed by co-stars and friends Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI gotta tell you: It feels so amazing that 400 million people got to watch me go through puberty. What a dream,\u201d he quipped during the beginning of his opener.<\/p>\n \n\tThe inaugural host said he experienced many firsts on camera while filming the Duffer Brothers\u2019 fantasy drama series \u2014 from his first kiss to the first time his voice changed, as well as \u201cthe first time I learned what a woman looked like down there.\u201d A clip of the show then played, as a young Mike Wheeler reacted to a Demogorgon\u2019s head opening up.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI am a man,\u201d the 23 year old announced as a jazzy instrumental played in the background. <\/p>\n \n\tAfter cracking some obligatory jokes about his sparse facial hair and doing a spit-take of whiskey, he declared, \u201cStranger Things <\/em>is over, and I\u2019m not a kid anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAnd neither are we!\u201d chimed in Matarazzo and McLaughlin as they popped up on the Studio 8H stage.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAny time you read \u2018former child star\u2019 in a headline, it can only mean good things,\u201d Matarazzo joked, as McLaughlin sarcastically thanked viewers for relentlessly posting about \u201cour changing faces and bodies\u201d on social media.<\/p>\n \n\tYou can watch the monologue above. <\/p>\n \n\tLater on in the evening, the Lorne Michaels-helmed sketch show spoofed the show itself, skewering audiences who believed a secret ninth episode would be dropping on the streamer. In the pre-taped sketch, the Stranger Things<\/em> universe sprawled numerous \u201990s-era-inspired spinoffs, including \u201cStrangerous Minds\u201d featuring Steve Harrington as a teacher; and \u201cMike in Manhattan,\u201d a Sex and the City<\/em>-esque series. In \u201cThe Wheeler Report,\u201d Nancy Wheeler reports on the O.J. Simpson chase. And, in another spoof, the entire Stranger Things<\/em> story is retold through the perspective of an \u201cinsignificant character\u201d: Mike Wheeler\u2019s dad, played by Mikey Day. Meanwhile, Will Byers doesn\u2019t receive a spinoff because his coming out scene is still ongoing. In a kicker, Kenan Thompson plays Eleven, donning a hospital gown and wielding an Eggo waffle.<\/p>\n \n
