Fiorentina are reportedly interested in bringing defender Diego Coppola back to Serie A after he struggled for playing time at Brighton and Hove Albion.<\/p>\n

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Viola have expressed an interest in securing Coppola, especially if it is a loan with option to buy.<\/p>\n

These negotiations are at a very early stage, but could progress as the January transfer window drags on.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old had been one of the bright hopes of Italian football and earned two senior caps for the Nazionale in the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n

They helped earn his \u20ac11m transfer to the Premier League from Hellas Verona, but he has not made much of an impact so far.<\/p>\n

He provided two assists in nine competitive games, but only started six of those matches.<\/p>\n

Crucially, there were only two starts in the Premier League and he has not featured at all in the last three top flight fixtures.<\/p>\n
