Gordon Ramsay<\/strong>\u2019s wife, Tana Ramsay<\/strong>, is revealing her skin condition after spending too much time in the sun.<\/p>\n

\u201cGordon and I used to bake,\u201d Tana, 51, told The Times<\/em> in an interview published on Monday, January 19. \u201cNow I have melasma. I\u2019ll never forget going into a pharmacy and the woman behind the counter asking what the stains on my face were.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melasma is \u201ccharacterized by brown or blue-gray patches or freckle-like spots,\u201d according to the Cleveland Clinic. The skin condition is common and typically fades after a few months.<\/p>\n

Tana\u2019s admission comes months after Gordon, 59, got candid about his own skin cancer surgery.<\/p>\n

\u201cGrateful and so appreciate for the incredible team at The Skin Associates and their fast reactive work on removing this Basal Cell Carcinoma thank you !\u201d Gordon wrote via Instagram in August 2025. \u201cPlease don\u2019t forget your sunscreen this weekend. I promise you it\u2019s not a face lift! I\u2019d need a refund\u2026..\u201d<\/p>\n

While sharing the message, the celebrity chef uploaded photos of his bandage below the ear and along the left side of his face. One photo showed the inch incision, with about eight stitches.<\/p>\n

Basal cell carcinoma is \u201ca type of skin cancer that most often develops on areas of skin exposed to the sun, such as the face,\u201d according to the Mayo Clinic. The cancer typically appears as a growth or a sore that doesn\u2019t heal.<\/p>\n

\u201cGlad to hear you\u2019re doing well, Gordon, and thanks for raising awareness of how important it is to stay safe in the sun,\u201d the official Instagram account for Cancer Research UK wrote. \u201cSeek shade, cover up, and apply sunscreen regularly and generously.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gordon and Tana\u2019s daughter Holly Anna added in the comments section, \u201cLove you dad,\u201d (The couple shares six kids, Megan, Holly Anna, Jack Scott, Matilda, Oscar James and Jesse James.)<\/p>\n

\u201cMy life flashed before me,\u201d Gordon told Men\u2019s Health UK<\/em> in 2024. \u201c[I was] traveling down the hill quite fast, no other cars involved. The front wheel went down a pothole, and the whole bike just catapulted me. I struggled to breathe. I thought I was going to pass out. Stupidly, the bike was mangled, and I put the chain back on. Then, like an idiot with adrenaline, I started f***g riding again.\u201d<\/p>\n
