Riffing on classic mafia films, <em>Sunny <\/em>follows a female gangster who fights to protect her sons \u2014 and herself \u2014 from an abusive drug kingpin. But when a devastating event occurs, she only has a matter of hours to plot their permanent escape.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSchmidt and Plummer will be playing Jolie\u2019s two sons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHailing from Gramercy Park Media, A Higher Standard, and Nickel City Pictures, <em>Sunny <\/em>is written by William Day Frank, who conceived the story with S\u00f8rhaug. Gramercy Park Media\u2019s Nathan Klingher is producing alongside Jolie, Nickel City Pictures\u2019 Mark Fasano and A Higher Standard\u2019s Jeffrey Greenstein, in association with Choice Films, with S\u00f8rhaug exec producing.
