The Masked Singer<\/em> revealed the identity of the Croissants after ending on a cliffhanger last week \u2014 and one judge\u2019s guess was right on the money.<\/p>\n

This post contains spoilers for episode 2 of The Masked Singer<\/em> season 14.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Todd<\/strong> and Julie Chrisley<\/strong> were unmasked as the Croissants during the Wednesday, January 14, episode of the Fox singing competition, as judge Jenny McCarthy<\/strong> predicted. The couple went home after just one performance, but it was a number that will go down in Masked Singer<\/em> history: Fresh out of prison, the pair put their spin on Elvis Presley<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cJailhouse Rock.\u201d<\/p>\n

After their elimination, Todd, 56, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> that the tune was one of several presented to him and Julie, 53, when they signed on for the show, along with \u201cButter\u201d by BTS. He was immediately on board for the Elvis classic, but Julie wasn\u2019t so sure.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSavannah Chrisley provided unwavering support to her formerly incarcerated parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, but the patriarch admitted he couldn\u2019t return the favor unconditionally. Todd, 56, revealed in a new interview that he didn\u2019t watch Savannah, 27, as the Afghan Hound on season 11 of The Masked Singer in 2024. While appearing in ABC News [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018Oh, my God, let\u2019s do this one,\u2019\u201d Todd recalled on Wednesday. \u201cAnd Julie was like, \u2018I\u2019m not doing that.\u2019 And I said, \u2018Why? It\u2019s not like the whole world doesn\u2019t know. I don\u2019t give a s***, so let\u2019s just do it. It\u2019ll be fun.\u2019 And so when we told that to the folks at The Masked Singer<\/em>, they were like, \u2018Are you serious? You\u2019ll do it? Because we so wanted you to do this.\u2019 And I said, \u2018Yes, that\u2019s the one we want to do.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The Chrisley Knows Best<\/em> alums further leaned into the jail theme with their outfits, which featured black-and-white striped outfits reminiscent of old-school prison uniforms. In their introduction during the January 7 season premiere, they were even attached to each other with a ball and chain.<\/p>\n

As fans may recall, Todd and Julie were released from prison in May 2025 after they were pardoned by President Donald Trump<\/strong>. The couple were convicted on 12 counts of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy in June 2022. Todd was originally sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie received a sentence of seven years. The duo, who have repeatedly claimed they are innocent of any crimes, had been behind bars since January 2023.<\/p>\n

While some fans may have been surprised to see the pair on The Masked Singer<\/em>, Todd told Us<\/em> that they wanted to prove to viewers \u2014 including those who are still incarcerated \u2014 that there\u2019s life on the other side.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTodd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley have shared the secret to their successful marriage with viewers since Chrisley Knows Best debuted in 2014. Before their reality show, Todd was first married to his high school sweetheart, Teresa Terry from 1990 to 1996. The duo, who called it quits in 1993, share daughter Lindsie and son Kyle. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to make light of a very tragic situation, but listen, we survived it, and there are so many people that don\u2019t,\u201d he explained. \u201cI want the world to know \u2014 and I want the men that I left behind who are sitting there watching this, they don\u2019t know yet. So, I mean, they\u2019ll find out tonight that Julie and I were on, because they\u2019re sitting in prison watching this show. It\u2019s a huge show in prison.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI want them to know that there is life after that season of their lives. \u2026 It was kind of like a snub to anyone who thought they were going to use [our past] to hang over our head.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Julie, some of her former fellow inmates have been watching the show \u2014 and reached out to ask whether that was her under the Croissant outfit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve gotten several calls about it,\u201d she told Us<\/em>. \u201cI was like, \u2018Who is calling me from prison?\u2019 And when I got the call, they\u2019re like, \u2018I swear this sounds like you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

As Masked Singer<\/em> contestants are sworn to secrecy, Julie and Todd didn\u2019t spill the beans \u2014 not even to their daughter Savannah Chrisley<\/strong>, who was on the show as Afghan Hound in season 11. (\u201cTrying to abide by the rules, despite what people might think!\u201d Julie quipped.)<\/p>\n

Savannah nearly found out, however, when someone saw her parents at the Fox studio in Los Angeles. The reality star, 28, immediately called her mom and dad to try to get the scoop, but they kept their lips sealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got a text from her and she said, \u2018Are you doing Masked Singer<\/em>?\u2019 And I said, \u2018What?\u2019\u201d Todd recalled. \u201cAnd then she called and she said, \u2018Are you doing Masked Singer<\/em>?\u2019 And I said, \u2018Why are you asking me that?\u2019 She said, \u2018Because I just got a text message from someone on the lot that said they ran into my parents, and they were the loveliest people.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd didn\u2019t crack under her questioning, messaging her back, \u201cPeople tell you that I\u2019m nice all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n
