Erika Christensen<\/strong> revealed if Scott Foley<\/strong> being booked and busy is cause for concern when it comes to her pregnant character Angie\u2019s romance with Seth on Will Trent<\/em>.<\/p>\n

During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly,<\/em> Christensen, 43, addressed how Foley\u2019s new role in Wonder Project\u2019s It\u2019s Not Like That<\/em> affects his future on Will Trent<\/em>, saying, \u201cI will say the shoot schedules don\u2019t directly overlap.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christensen couldn\u2019t give too much away about Angie and Seth\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what I can say, but I also don\u2019t know where it\u2019s going,\u201d she admitted to Us. \u201cAll I can say is what we\u2019ve seen. We\u2019ve seen that it\u2019s something really beautiful and unique for her. She has never experienced a healthy relationship. So it\u2019s what she deserves. She deserves something nice and as of now she has it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on a book by Karin Slaughter<\/strong>, Will Trent<\/em> follows a special agent at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation who was abandoned at birth and grew up in Atlanta\u2019s overwhelmed foster care system. Will (Ram\u00f3n Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>) now relies on his unique perspective while pursuing justice, which leads to the highest clearance rate in the GBI.<\/p>\n

Season 4 featured a time jump that showed Angie weeks away from giving birth to her and now-fianc\u00e9 Seth\u2019s baby.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole pregnancy story line was out of the blue for me. I didn\u2019t see that coming and she didn\u2019t see that coming. She\u2019s just such an independent person and she\u2019s so used to her freedom. Angie is so used to taking everything at face value,\u201d Christensen noted. \u201cTo have her soften or find new parts of herself and new willingness to be vulnerable is really interesting to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress noted that she still doesn\u2019t \u201cknow where it\u2019s all going,\u201d adding, \u201cThe time jump was very much a time of growth for her \u2014 mentally and emotionally. Because at the end of season 3, she was really struggling with losing her mom [despite] her mother being such a toxic presence in her life. She was such a selfish and awful person to raise a child. Then what\u2019s being fed back to her from Seth comes with no judgment and comes with just fresh eyes on who she is now and not who what she\u2019s been through. So it\u2019s really bringing Angie to a more present outlook.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christensen continued: \u201cShe\u2019s still working full time, but I think she\u2019s becoming a lot more comfortable with exploring these new aspects of herself and not laying down rules about what kind of parent she\u2019s going to be. But it is about knowing what kind of parent she\u2019s not going to be and what kind of wife she\u2019s going to be. It\u2019s new territory.\u201d<\/p>\n
