President Donald Trump<\/strong> received a hero\u2019s welcome while attending a recent UFC fight amid failed U.S. peace talks with Iran.<\/p>\n

Trump, 79, attended UFC 327 on Saturday, April 11, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, alongside CEO Dana White<\/strong>, Ivanka Trump<\/strong>, Tiffany Trump<\/strong>, Donald Trump Jr<\/strong>, Secretary of State Marco Rubio<\/strong>, U.S. ambassador to India Sergio Gor,<\/strong> 90s rapper Vanilla Ice<\/strong>, podcaster Joe Rogan<\/strong> and former FBI deputy director Dan Bongino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to The New York Times<\/em>, the president walked into the arena to \u201cthunderous applause\u201d as a song from rocker and outspoken MAGA fan Kid Rock<\/strong> played in the background.<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s presence at the light heavyweight fight between Jiri Prochazka<\/strong> and Carlos Ulberg<\/strong> came amid failed peace talks between the United States and Iran. While Trump attended the event, vice president JD Vance<\/strong> made a public appearance from Pakistan to announce that attempts at reaching a long-term agreement between the U.S. and Iran had failed after 21 hours of negotiations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe bad news is that we have not reached an agreement, and I think that\u2019s bad news for Iran much more than it\u2019s bad news for the United States of America,\u201d Vance, 41, told reporters before leaving Islamabad. \u201cWe need to see an affirmative commitment that they will not seek a nuclear weapon and they will not seek the tools that would enable them to quickly achieve a nuclear weapon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Per The New York Times<\/em>, it is unclear if the president was aware that peace talks had failed during his UFC appearance. Notably, however, Trump downplayed the importance of the negotiations \u2014 or their outcome \u2014 on his way to the bout.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether we make a deal or not makes no difference to me,\u201d Trump said. \u201cAnd the reason is because we\u2019ve won. We win regardless. We\u2019ve defeated them militarily.\u201d<\/p>\n
