Even competing on the final day of the 2026 Masters couldn\u2019t prevent golfer Cameron Young<\/strong> from attending Sunday church with his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not going to stop us, I think,\u201d Young told reporters<\/span> on Saturday, April 11, ahead of the final day of competition at Augusta National in Georgia. \u201cI don\u2019t know where we\u2019re going to go yet, but we\u2019ll find somewhere and take the kids. We\u2019ll be out in full force just like usual.\u201d<\/p>\n

Young and his wife, Kelsey Dalition<\/strong>, are Catholics who try to attend church with their three young children regardless of where they are as the pro golfer competes at various golf tournaments around the country.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Young and his family were spotted attending Easter mass at a church before the Players Championship.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCameron Young just won one of the biggest titles in professional golf. His kids? They could not have cared less about the trophy. They wanted to see the drone. Young sank a tournament-winning putt at the 18th hole to claim The Players Championship on March 15, 2026 \u2014 the title widely recognized as the PGA [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOur faith is very important to us,\u201d he said via Golf Digest<\/i><\/span>. \u201cIt\u2019s something that I feel like brings us together. It\u2019s very important, I think, for all of us to kind of have that part of our lives be a central portion of what we do, individually and as a family.\u201d<\/p>\n

While some athletes choose to keep their faith journey, beliefs or practices private, Young is open about his Catholicism. As a result, the professional athlete said he\u2019s received positive feedback from some of his biggest fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get a lot of really, really nice comments. People saying, \u2018Hey, thanks for setting a great example for my children,\u2019\u201d Young shared. \u201cHonestly, it\u2019s great to hear because I don\u2019t feel like that\u2019s the case all the time, and that\u2019s one area where I\u2019m really happy to be able to bring attention to that part of our life. I just think it\u2019s a great opportunity to show other people that\u2019s what we do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Rory McIlroy<\/span><\/strong> earned the 2026 Masters win over the weekend<\/span>, Young still performed well in his fifth start at the prestigious event.<\/p>\n
