President Donald Trump<\/strong> is weighing in on FEMA official Gregg Phillips<\/strong>\u2019 claims that he\u2019s been teleported by a supernatural being.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat does teleport mean? Was he kidding?\u201d Trump, 79, asked CNN<\/em> on Thursday, April 14, when discussing Phillips\u2019 alleged transportation to a Waffle House in Rome, Georgia, \u201c50 miles away\u201d from where he was.<\/p>\n

After the CNN<\/em> reporter told Trump that Phillips was not joking about his alleged experience with the supernatural, the president admitted, \u201cI don\u2019t know anything about teleporting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just sounds a little strange, but I know nothing about teleporting or him, but I\u2019ll find out about it right now,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPresident Donald Trump has reacted to Barack Obama\u2018s claim that aliens are real. Claiming his presidential predecessor overstepped national security rules, Trump, 79, told Fox News on Thursday, February 19, that Obama, 64, \u201cgave classified information.\u201d \u201cHe\u2019s not supposed to be doing that,\u201d Trump added. \u201cI don\u2019t know if they\u2019re real or not. Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to the White House and FEMA for comment.<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s remarks come one year after Phillips \u2014 who serves as a high-ranking US Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) official under Trump\u2019s second administration \u2014 alleged that he was \u201cteleported\u201d against his will.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I ended up at a Waffle House \u2014 this was in Georgie, and I end up at a Waffle House like 50 miles away from where I was,\u201d he alleged on a January 2025 episode of the \u201cOnward\u201d podcast. \u201cAnd they said, \u2018Where are you?\u2019 and I said, \u2018A Waffle House.\u2019 And, \u2018A Waffle House where?\u2019 And I said, \u2018Waffle House in Rome, Georgia.\u2019 And they said, \u2018That\u2019s not possible, you just left here a minute ago.\u2019 But it was possible. It was real.\u201d<\/p>\n

Phillips further claimed, \u201cTeleporting is no fun. You know it\u2019s happening, but you can\u2019t do anything about it, and so you just go, you just go with the ride. And wow, what just an incredible adventure it all was.\u201d<\/p>\n

In March, CNN<\/em> published an investigative report into Phillips\u2019 bizarre claims \u2014 including his conspiracy theories surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, former president Joe Biden and the supernatural.<\/p>\n

As a result of the story and backlash over Phillips\u2019 claims, FEMA issued a statement regarding their employee.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is so silly it\u2019s barely worth acknowledging,\u201d a spokesperson told CNN<\/em> at the time. \u201cDHS, FEMA, and Mr. Phillips are focused on the critical mission of emergency management and ensuring the safety of the American people. Many of the comments cited are taken out of context or represent personal, informal, jovial, and somewhat spiritual discussions made in the context of barely surviving cancer; in a private capacity prior to his current role.\u201d<\/p>\n
