Joshua Jackson<\/strong> and Katie Holmes<\/strong> aren\u2019t back in Capeside, but their latest reunion in New York City is giving Dawson\u2019s Creek<\/em> fans all the feels.<\/p>\n

The actors \u2014 who played love interests Pacey Witter and Joey Potter on the beloved WB series from 1998 to 2003 \u2014 stepped out in NYC on Tuesday, April 14, to attend the gala screening for Brunello: The Gracious Visionary<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Jackson, 47, looked dapper in grey slacks while walking the red carpet outside David Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center. Instead of a matching grey suit jacket, the actor wore a merlot-colored jacket over his white shirt and pulled it all together with a grey bowtie.<\/p>\n

Holmes, 47, quickly pulled focus with her sexy and sophisticated outfit. She opted for a silver, sparkly maxi skirt and crisp white button-down shirt that fell slightly off her shoulder, revealing one strap of what appeared to be her bra. The actress topped off her look with a black clutch.<\/p>\n

While the pair\u2019s solo red carpet poses pulled fans in, it was the pictures they took together that had Us<\/em> all \u2014 and rightfully \u2014 freaking out.<\/p>\n

In one photo, Jackson looked lovingly at his longtime friend and scene partner Holmes as she laughed back. In a separate picture, the pair linked arms and smiled for the cameras, warming fans\u2019 hearts.<\/p>\n

Jackson and Holmes\u2019 joint appearance comes nearly one year after they reunited in July 2025 to begin filming Happy Hours<\/em>, an upcoming trilogy in which they once again play love interests.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s a lifelong friend now,\u201d Jackson said of Holmes during a March interview on Today<\/em>. \u201cAnd for us to get to go back and be able to do this again and honestly for her to create that space for us, was kind of magical.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holmes and Jackson\u2019s New York outing also marks the first time they have reunited publicly since the death of their fellow Dawson\u2019s Creek<\/em> costar James Van Der Beek<\/strong>. Van Der Beek died on February 11 after battling colorectal cancer. He was 48.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDawson\u2019s Creek ended in 2003, and for more than two decades, fans have been wanting a reunion \u2014 but the cast had mixed feelings. OG stars James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams\u00a0hinted at the possibility for years, but it wasn\u2019t until August 2025 that the cast announced that an official [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Following his death, both Holmes and Jackson shared individual and emotional tributes to the actor, who played the titular character, Dawson Leery, on their hit \u201890s show.<\/p>\n

\u201cJames, thank you. To share space with your imagination is sacred \u2014 breathing the same air in the land of make-believe and trusting that each other\u2019s hearts are safe in their expression,\u201d Holmes wrote in a handwritten letter shared via Instagram on February 12. \u201cThese are some of the memories, along with laughter, conversations about life, James Taylor songs \u2014 adventures of a unique youth \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Holmes recalled Van Der Beek having, \u201cBravery. Compassion. Selflessness. Strength\u201d as well as an \u201cappreciation for life and the action taken to live life with the integrity that life is art.\u201d<\/p>\n

She noted that his \u201cjourney of a hero\u201d also included \u201ccreating a beautiful marriage, six loving children.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI mourn this loss with a heart holding the reality of his absence and deep gratitude for his imprint on it,\u201d Holmes added.<\/p>\n

Jackson broke his silence over Van Der Beek\u2019s death while appearing on the Today<\/em> show on March 10.<\/p>\n
