Don\u2019t let the door hit you on the way out,\u201d Froyd\u00a0tweeted this week following news of Russini\u2019s resignation letter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know who you really are and what you\u2019ve been up to for years,\u201d she continued, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt does so much detriment to women in sports who have done things the right way<\/p>\n<p>Froyd doubled down in remarks to the Daily Caller, telling the outlet that Russini \u201cdeserves\u201d to be called out for her actions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of us do know what she\u2019s been up to,\u201d she alleged. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DW6jqPkEqbt\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>\u201cI can honestly say I have never slept with a player or coach for professional gain. Dianna cannot say the same. That\u2019s where the difference is,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a separate tweet, Froyd also blasted Vrabel:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince it seems to have not been taken correctly \u2014 I equally despise Mike Vrabel for his behavior,\u201d she wrote, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs someone who covered the Titans for years, even on the ground as a hopeful teenager in Nissan Stadium, I am absolutely distraught at his actions after I used to look up to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also accused of Russini of getting into a fight with another reporter after they learned that they were both romantically involved with Sean McVay, who was the offensive coordinator in Washington at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom fights with other reporters in Chili\u2019s parking lots about hooking up with married NFL coaches to everything else, it is almost certainly all true. It was the worst kept secret in the NFL reporting world for a while,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>Froyd soon found herself on the receiving end of some very harsh criticism, with some going so far as to accuse her of hypocrisy.<\/p>\n<p>She went so far as to invite critics to offer details of her own alleged affairs with NFL insiders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHi! Opening up a thread here for anyone in my comments also accusing me of sleeping with players\/coaches for info,\u201d Froyd tweeted, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease hit me with your best shot. Once again, I have nothing to hide and am damn sure you can\u2019t provide any legitimate evidence if you have a \u2018claim.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For her part, Russini continues to deny that she carried on an inappropriate relationship with Vrabel:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe photos don\u2019t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues,\u201d she said in her resignation letter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable.
