{"id":78522,"date":"2026-04-17T06:24:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T06:24:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diyhaven858.wasmer.app\/index.php\/meghan-trainor-cancels-get-in-girl-tour-2-months-before-kickoff\/"},"modified":"2026-04-17T06:24:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T06:24:13","slug":"meghan-trainor-cancels-get-in-girl-tour-2-months-before-kickoff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diyhaven858.wasmer.app\/index.php\/meghan-trainor-cancels-get-in-girl-tour-2-months-before-kickoff\/","title":{"rendered":"Meghan Trainor Cancels Get in Girl Tour 2 Months Before Kickoff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Meghan Trainor<\/strong> has cancelled her <em>Get in Girl Tour<\/em> two months before she was set to hit the road, shocking fans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I\u2019ve made the difficult decision to cancel the <em>Get in Girl Tour<\/em>,\u201d Trainor, 32, announced via her Instagram Story on Thursday, April 16.<\/p>\n<p>The musician explained, \u201cBalancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trainor \u2014 who welcomed her and husband <strong>Daryl Sabara<\/strong>\u2019s third child, daughter Mickey, in January via surrogate \u2014 shared that she needs to \u201cbe home and present for each and all of them at this time.\u201d (The couple also share sons Riley, 5, and Barry, almost 3.)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know this will come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down,\u201d Trainor continued. \u201cBut I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Grammy winner concluded, \u201cI promise I\u2019ll be back soon, and I can\u2019t wait for you to hear this new record. I\u2019m so proud of it and I\u2019m endlessly grateful for your love and support always.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trainor\u2019s surprise cancellation comes less than two months before she was set to hit the road and begin her tour on June 12 for a show in Clarkston, Michigan. The pop star, 32, opened up about the decision during an interview on the Thursday, April 9, episode of Kylie Kelce\u2019s \u201cNot Gonna Lie\u201d podcast and shared some of the complicated [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The singer initially announced in November 2025 that she was gearing up to go on the road after revealing that same month that her seventh studio album, <em>Toy With Me<\/em>, was in the works.<\/p>\n<p>While the tour is no more, fans can listen to <em>Toy With Me<\/em> on Friday, April 24, when it is officially released. (Trainor also released the official setlist on Thursday, hours before she canceled her tour.)<\/p>\n<p>Trainor exclusively told <em>Us Weekly<\/em> in her April cover story, which hit newsstands on Wednesday, April 15, that her upcoming album was partly inspired by the backlash she received from losing weight using a GLP-1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been working so hard on my health and wellness and taking care of myself, and what comes with that is looking different,\u201d she shared with <em>Us<\/em>. \u201cI was finally feeling better in my body and really loving wearing clothes.
