Shannon Elizabeth<\/strong> has broken her silence on her split from her husband Simon Borchert.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been separated since September of last year, and this has been a thoughtful, ongoing process-not something that happened in the past few days,\u201d Elizabeth, 52, told Us Weekly<\/em> via a statement on Thursday, April 16. \u201cThe meaningful pieces are already behind me, and only the formalities remain.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cThis is a new chapter for me, and it\u2019s one I\u2019m genuinely excited about. I feel stronger, clearer, and happier than I have in a very long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> can confirm that Elizabeth quietly filed for divorce from Borchert prior to announcing she was joining OnlyFans earlier this week.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m choosing OnlyFans because it allows me to connect directly with my audience, create on my own terms, and just be free,\u201d Elizabeth told People on Wednesday, April 15. \u201cI really do think this is the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career,\u201d Elizabeth told the outlet. \u201cThis new chapter is about changing that, showing off a more sexy side no one has seen, and being closer to my fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans are able to subscribe to her OnlyFans page currently, where she describes herself as\u00a0 an \u201cactress,\u201d \u201cstoryteller,\u201d and \u201ca little mischievous.\u201d<\/p>\n
