The Real Housewives of Miami<\/i> star Lisa Hochstein<\/b> surrendered to authorities in April 2026 after she and ex-boyfriend Jody Glidden <\/b>were each charged with one count of interception of wire, oral or electronic communications in connection to her ex-husband, Lenny Hochstein<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Lisa\u2019s attorney, Jayne Weintraub<\/b>, confirmed to TMZ that the Bravolebrity voluntarily surrendered and \u201chas nothing to hide.\u201d After taking mugshot photos, Lisa was released the same day on her own recognizance<\/span>.<\/p>\n

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly<\/i>, Lisa and Glidden allegedly \u201cunlawfully and intentionally\u201d intercepted communications from Lenny and his associates in March 2023.<\/p>\n

Glidden, for his part, was arrested and taken into custody in Miami Beach, Florida, in March 2026. Glidden, who entered a not guilty plea, is no longer listed in the jail\u2019s database of inmates.<\/p>\n

What Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden\u2019s Charges Mean<\/b><\/h2>\n

Rachael Bennett<\/b>, a certified family law specialist and senior attorney at Sullivan Law & Associates, broke down the legal situation on Legally Us<\/i><\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is pretty serious. They\u2019re accused of secretly bugging Lenny\u2019s car with a listening device. Now, some states require what\u2019s called an \u2018All Party Consent\u2019 if you\u2019re going to record someone, and in Florida, that\u2019s definitely one of the laws there,\u201d Bennett, who has no connection to the case, exclusively told Us <\/i>in April 2026. \u201cThat means that if you record someone without their knowledge or permission, that recording is considered to have been obtained illegally in Florida. This is considered a third degree felony, which means she could face up to five years of prison time if she\u2019s convicted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lisa Hochstein\u2019s lawyer, as well as Jody Glidden\u2019s attorneys, also told Us <\/i>that, \u201cThis matter is part of a contentious divorce proceeding and does not belong in criminal court.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lisa and Lenny Hochstein, who share two children, finalized their divorce in 2024.<\/p>\n

According to Bennett, Lisa and Glidden\u2019s defense could \u201cprovide key context\u201d in the case.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we all know, divorces can absolutely bring out the worst kind of behavior from even the most reasonable people,\u201d Bennett explained. \u201cBut this defense could also be seen as an effort to downplay the situation, so I think she\u2019s going to have to be careful not to minimize her actions here if these claims are true.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inside Lisa and Lenny Hochstein\u2019s Divorce<\/b><\/h2>\n

Lenny Hochstein filed for divorce from Lisa Hochstein in May 2022 after 12 years of marriage. The pair finalized their split in November 2024 and share custody of two children, son Logan and daughter Elle.<\/p>\n

Their legal fights, however, have continued well beyond the divorce settlement. According to court documents obtained by Us<\/i><\/span>, the exes continue to clash over property and finances.<\/p>\n
