TikToker Matt Howard<\/strong> and his pregnant wife, Abby Howard<\/strong>, found out the sex of their baby with the help of their younger sons.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited,\u201d Abby shared in a Sunday, April 19, YouTube video, which was filmed in January. \u201cThis is the earliest we\u2019ve ever found out. But now I\u2019m of the mindset that I want to know the most about this baby that I possibly can while I can.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked what she thought the sex of their baby might be, Abby replied, \u201cI think girl.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like I didn\u2019t have any preference with the third. But now that we know what we lost, it definitely opened that desire in my heart to have a little girl one day,\u201d Abby said. \u201cWe are going to love this baby no matter what.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTikTok couple Matt and Abby Howard will not be disclosing the details of their baby\u2019s health prior to their pregnancy loss. \u201cI think we\u2019re gonna keep all of her specific medical stuff private, like we would our other children,\u201d Abby, 26, said during the Wednesday, October 22, episode of their \u201cUnplanned\u201d podcast. Matt, 27, agreed, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In another clip, Matt explained that Abby\u2019s mom would give their sons a bouquet of blue or pink flowers \u2014 corresponding with the sex of their baby. The pair\u2019s sons then walked over to the couple, who had their eyes shut, while holding blue flowers. (Matt and Abby welcomed sons Griffin and August in 2022 and 2023, respectively.)<\/p>\n

As Matt opened his eyes, he exclaimed, \u201cIt\u2019s a boy!\u201d Abby leaned her head back and laughed before clapping.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got three boys in the family,\u201d Matt said to their sons. \u201cThree boys, how crazy is that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair then celebrated with a larger group, where they were seen popping blue confetti as their loved ones cheered.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with very heavy hearts that we share about the loss of our baby girl born far too soon,\u201d the pair wrote via Instagram in September 2025. \u201cAt a routine pregnancy appointment, our doctor could not find a heartbeat. Shortly after they sent us in for an ultrasound where the technician said words we will never forget, \u2018I am so sorry I do not have good news.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
