Eva Mendes<\/strong> is sharing rare insight into her date nights with Ryan Gosling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, we do have date nights regularly,\u201d Mendes, 52, told People<\/em> in an interview published on Friday, April 17, adding that their dates include \u201call the unmentionables.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what else to say. We like movies, and we like going to the movies, so we try to keep that alive,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

Mendes added that fans are \u201cusually cool\u201d when they\u2019re spotted out together.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you want attention, you go to certain places, and if you don\u2019t, you know where to go. We do the latter,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n

Mendes and Gosling, 45, met while filming The Place Beyond the Pines<\/em> in August 2011. The two were spotted together at Disneyland the following month, sparking romance rumors. Mendes and Gosling later spent Thanksgiving and New Year\u2019s Eve together, months before their red carpet debut in September 2012.<\/p>\n

Mendes and Gosling went on to welcome their first child, daughter Esmeralda, in September 2014, followed by daughter Amada in April 2016.<\/p>\n

The Lost River<\/em> costars have kept their relationship and their family fairly private over the years, with Mendes explaining the decision in a since-deleted Instagram post in 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids. I\u2019ll talk about them of course, with limits, but I won\u2019t post pictures of our daily life,\u201d she wrote at the time. \u201cSince my children are still so little and don\u2019t understand what posting their image really means, I don\u2019t have their consent. And I won\u2019t post their image until they\u2019re old enough to give me consent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs far as Ryan, I\u2019ll only post [flashbacks] of things that are already \u2018out there\u2019 (like pics from movies we did or stuff like that). My man and my kids are private. That\u2019s important to me,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Gosling has also opened up about his relationship with Mendes on rare occasions.<\/p>\n
