Natalie Portman <\/b>has rarely opened up about motherhood through the years, but with a third baby on the way, the Oscar winner is sharing more than ever about parenting, pregnancy and what family means to her.<\/p>\n
Portman confirmed to Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/i><\/span> in April 2026 that she and boyfriend Tanguy Destable<\/b> are expecting their first baby together. (Portman and Destable each have two children from previous relationships.)<\/p>\n \u201cTanguy and I are very excited,\u201d Portman told the outlet. \u201cI\u2019m just very grateful. I know it\u2019s such a privilege and a miracle. I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant. I have so many people I love who\u2019ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It\u2019s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it\u2019s also not an easy thing.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cI know how lucky it is. I\u2019m very aware, and I\u2019m very grateful. Hope it doesn\u2019t happen on the red carpet.\u2019 I was like, \u2018I\u2019ve got five more months to go.’\u201d<\/p>\n She added at the time, \u201cI couldn\u2019t drink at all during all of those events, which was hard. It\u2019s a lot of stress. It\u2019s a lot of attention. \u2026 And I was sober while everyone else was not.\u201d<\/p>\n Portman further joked she was \u201cprobably the only actress eating my way to the Oscars\u201d that year.
