LeBron James<\/strong> continues to make history, this time with his son.<\/p>\n

During the NBA playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets on Saturday, April 19, James and his son, LeBron \u201cBronny\u201d James Jr<\/strong>, became the first father-son duo in NBA history to play together in a postseason game.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of crazy things that\u2019s been going on this year,\u201d LeBron told reporters after the 107-98 win in Game 1 of the series. \u201cI mean, I was on the floor with my son in a playoff game. That\u2019s probably the craziest thing that\u2019s ever happened to me in my career.\u201d<\/p>\n

LeBron went on to describe the significance of the moment for him and his entire family being in the arena for the game.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tEven NBA legends sometimes struggle to deal with their children leaving the nest. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James joked about his son and teammate Bronny moving out after the Lakers\u2019 140-126 win over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday, November 18. \u201cI think he\u2019s enjoying the process,\u201d LeBron, 40, told the media when asked about [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt was just so cool to be out there with [Bronny],\u201d LeBron, 41, said. \u201cWith his brother (Bryce<\/strong>) and sister (Zhuri<\/strong>) and mom (Savannah James<\/strong>) in the building. And his grandma.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cThat\u2019s just insane. My mom gets to watch her son and her grandson during the playoffs. That\u2019s crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two shared some words on the court at the start of the second quarter, when Bronny, 21, was subbed into the game with LeBron already on the court.<\/p>\n

The four-time NBA champion recorded a double-double in the playoff win with 19 points and 13 assists. Bronny played just four minutes during the game, but the two were on the court together for that time.<\/p>\n

Playing with his son has been a big goal for LeBron over the last few years, before his 23-year career inevitably comes to an end.<\/p>\n

\u201cI need to be on the floor with my boy, I got to be on the floor with Bronny,\u201d LeBron told ESPN<\/em> in 2023. \u201cEither in the same uniform or a matchup against him. \u2026 But I would love to do the whole Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr. thing. That would be ideal, for sure. \u2026 I\u2019m here already, so I\u2019m just waiting on him.\u201d<\/p>\n
