\n\tNow that one beloved part of Anne Hathaway\u2018s filmography \u2014 The Devil Wears Prada <\/em>\u2014 has gotten the sequel treatment, the Oscar-winning actress says she is intent on a repeat, as her team is \u201cconstantly working on\u201d bringing The Princess Diaries 3<\/em> to the silver screen.<\/p>\n \n\tIn a new interview with Entertainment Weekly,<\/em> the Mother Mary<\/em> star said she is \u201c100%\u201d looking to return to Genovia.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe\u2019re constantly working on it. [The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em>] cropped up unexpectedly and took over the space,\u201d she said, adding that it \u201cbecame impossible to focus on both at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tNow, \u201cthe intention is to make\u00a0Princess Diaries<\/em>\u00a0hopefully\u00a0next,\u201d Hathaway confirmed, stressing that the threequel is not yet official as it has not been \u201cgreenlit or confirmed yet.\u201d Aware that \u201ceverybody wants [a next installment],\u201d she and her collaborators are currently \u201cchipping away at the script.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIf I learned anything from [The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em>], it\u2019s that expectations are very, very high, and if you\u2019re going to do it, you have to knock it out of the park,\u201d she concluded. <\/p>\n \n\tIn Garry Marshall\u2019s 2001 film adaptation of Meg Cabot\u2019s novel, Hathaway played Mia Thermopolis, an ordinary high school student whose life is upended when her grandmother (Julie Andrews) reveals she is next in line for the throne of a fictitious kingdom.
