Days of Our Lives<\/em> actor Patrick Muldoon<\/strong> had been public about his relationships prior to his death.<\/p>\n The Melrose Plac<\/em>e alum\u2019s manager confirmed to Variety<\/em> in April 2026 that the actor died at age 57. His sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa<\/strong>, told TMZ that Muldoon had gone to take a shower after drinking coffee with his girlfriend, Miriam Rothbart<\/strong>, in their Beverly Hills home.<\/p>\n After some time had passed, Rothbart checked on him and found him unconscious on the bathroom floor. Paramedics were called to revive Muldoon.<\/p>\n Elisabeth Costa de Beauregard Segel<\/strong>, president of global sales and distribution at Muldoon\u2019s company, Storyboard Media, told Us Weekly,<\/em> \u201cHeaven got another angel far too soon,\u201d calling Muldoon \u201cthe most amazing person.\u201d<\/p>\n Scroll down to learn more about Muldoon\u2019s dating history:<\/p>\n While Patrick Muldoon mainly kept the details of his romance with Miriam Rothbart under wraps, he revealed via Instagram in August 2025 that they had been dating for two years.<\/p>\n \u201cMy girl. Two years 2gether today from the night this picture was taken where I got you drunk enough to become my girlfriend,\u201d he wrote. \u201cThank u \ud83d\ude4f my \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair met in 1997 while filming Starship Troopers, which was released the following year. Patrick Muldoon and Denise Richards dated for nearly five years before splitting around 2000 and remained close friends for years until his death.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve known Patrick Muldoon since I was 19 years old,\u201d Richards said during a 2019 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. \u201cWe call each other \u2018schweet babe\u2019 because we had nicknames on Starship Troopers for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n Richards and Muldoon briefly put a pause on their friendship while the actress was married to Charlie Sheen<\/strong>.
