Pat McAfee<\/strong>\u2019s wife, Samantha McAfee<\/strong>, actually seemed thankful that Jelly Roll<\/strong> slammed her husband through a table at WWE Wrestlemania 42 on Sunday, April 19.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst morning since 2017 babe is completely out of the wrestling business, thanks @jellyroll615,\u201d she wrote via her Instagram Story over a photo of Pat, 38, lying shirtless in a hotel bed, and sipping what appears to be a cup of coffee.<\/p>\n

Jelly Roll, 41, shared the post to his own Story, writing, \u201cIt was my pleasure. Honestly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pat confirmed that he is, in fact, done with wrestling with a statement on the Pat McAfee Show<\/em> on Monday, April 20.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe good news is, the business doesn\u2019t need to be saved after all. And good for them. And for me, I finished my story,\u201d he said.. \u201cI came up in the indies, IWA East Coast. I went through development, NXT. I was a wrestler, trained by Rip Rogers<\/strong>\u2026Get to WWE, commentated, lucky to do that. Did pre-shows, lucky to do that. Wrestled, lucky to do that. Reffed, lucky to do that. Managed, lucky to do that. It\u2019s been a hell of a run. Thank you, wrestling. It was an honor to be over there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jelly Roll and Pat, two controversial additions to the 2026 wrestling showcase in Paradise, Nevada, put on quite the show, leading to the ESPN host being stretchered out of Allegiant Stadium.<\/p>\n

Pat was announcing the main event between WWE Champion Cody Rhodes<\/strong> and challenger Randy Orton<\/strong> when Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, entered the fray. After Rhodes, 40, threw Pat onto a table, the country singer leapt into the air and slammed his elbow into Pat\u2019s chest, sending him and the table to the ground.<\/p>\n

The ESPN host let fans know he was OK as he was being taken out of the stadium by giving the crowd the middle finger.<\/p>\n

Pat later returned to the event in a referee\u2019s uniform and wearing a neck brace.<\/p>\n
