Sydney Sweeney<\/strong>\u2019s Euphoria<\/em> character is making waves in the OnlyFans industry.<\/p>\n In season 3 of Euphoria<\/em>, Sweeney\u2019s Cassie explores becoming an adult content creator and is seen posing topless while licking an ice cream cone and dressing up as a baby. At one point, she suggested men will pay $50 for a good morning text from her.<\/p>\n Several OnlyFans creators have since weighed in on the character in a statement to Us Weekly<\/em>, with Alex Paige Moore<\/strong> explaining that the show misrepresented the type of people who join OnlyFans. Moore explained that she feels like creators join the platform as a \u201clast resort\u201d rather than as a manipulation tactic.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like for a lot of people, whether they\u2019re in the same situation as me or different situations, joining OnlyFans is more of a last resort,\u201d she explained. \u201cIt\u2019s not that we\u2019re throwing a tantrum or threatening our partners that we\u2019re going to leave or demanding they give us more money.\u201d<\/p>\n Scroll down to see what they have said:<\/p>\n Skylar Mae<\/strong> noted that it\u2019s \u201ctrue\u201d that creators \u201ccan make fast money on OnlyFans without showing anything,\u201d noting that \u201cit\u2019s possible that for $50 my subscribers would pay for a message of me saying, \u2018Good morning, handsome.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHowever, for a fan to stay around longer and to continue paying for your content, this probably won\u2019t keep them around for long,\u201d she said. \u201cThese subscribers are thinking that by subscribing they will get some explicit content, and for them to get nothing more, that would likely turn off a lot of people.\u201d<\/p>\n OnlyFans creator Amira Evans<\/strong> pushed back on the idea that the reality is not as simple as Euphoria suggested.<\/p>\n \u201cOnlyFans is NOT a get rich quick scheme,\u201d Evans said in a statement. \u201cPeople need to know the stigma and risk associated with making an account and putting your content online, the internet is forever.\u201d<\/p>\n Alex Paige Moore<\/strong> echoed Amira Evans\u2019 take, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s not as easy as \u2018send a message and make $50\u2019. If it was, everyone would be doing it. Most creators start at $1\u20132k a month \u2014 it takes serious strategy and social media work to build it up.\u201d<\/p>\n Creator Bonnie Locket<\/strong> shared that she feels like OnlyFans is not being accurately represented.<\/p>\n \u201cI think what shows often get wrong is that they lean into the shock factor and sexuality, but miss the business side. Being an OnlyFans creator isn\u2019t just \u2018posting sexy content,\u2019 it\u2019s marketing, psychology, branding, consistency, and resilience. It\u2019s closer to running a digital media company than people realise,\u201d she said in a statement.<\/p>\n Locket, however, recognized that the show has gotten the \u201cemotional\u201d side \u201cright,\u201d adding, \u201cThere is vulnerability, judgment, and a lot of projection from people watching you.\u201d<\/p>\n Locket noted that OnlyFans being represented in Euphoria is a \u201cpositive step,\u201d adding that \u201cthere\u2019s been a lot of stigma, and shows like this open up the conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat said, it needs to be done responsibly, because a lot of people watching won\u2019t understand the full picture and might assume it\u2019s easy money or purely sexual, when it\u2019s really not,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n You have successfully subscribed.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n OnlyFans creator Taila Maddison<\/strong> noted that her job is much more than \u201cjust fulfilling kinks\u201d like Euphoria<\/em> implies.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s definitely a lot more to OnlyFans than just fulfilling kinks.
