Dylan Sprouse<\/strong> and his wife, Barbara Palvin<\/strong>, spoke out after reportedly fending off an intruder at their Los Angeles home.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re dealing with the trauma with jokes and fun and all that,\u201d Palvin, 32, told E! News at the red carpet premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em> on Monday, April 20.<\/p>\n

On Friday, April 17, multiple sources confirmed that Sprouse, 33, confronted an intruder outside the couple\u2019s Hollywood Hills home. Sprouse tackled the alleged trespasser on his front lawn after Palvin noticed the \u201ccreepy guy,\u201d per the Los Angeles Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought it was funny,\u201d Sprouse admitted to E! News at Monday\u2019s gala red carpet event. \u201cThis is really to my detriment but I\u2019m really not a \u2018too soon\u2019 guy, in general.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDylan Sprouse\u2019s real-life marriage to wife Barbara Palvin has given him a leg up when it comes to crafting a healthy relationship with his costars. \u201cIn general, [marriage has] taught me a lot of patience and communication. Obviously that\u2019s the clich\u00e9, is that people say communication is key, but it really is,\u201d Sprouse, 33, exclusively [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He went on, \u201cWe\u2019re laughing about things the moment they happen. You\u2019ve got to have levity in life. Thankfully, no one was hurt and there was no more violence.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to reports, Palvin called 911 at around 12:30 a.m. PT on Friday to report a possible home invasion. Sprouse reportedly had a gun and restrained the alleged intruder until police arrived moments later.<\/p>\n

The suspect was taken into custody on an unrelated outstanding warrant. No injuries were reported and it is believed that the entire confrontation took place outside the residence.<\/p>\n

While breaking their silence on Monday, the former Suite Life of Zack & Cody<\/em> star assured his fans that there is nothing to worry about.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all OK,\u201d he insisted, with Palvin adding, \u201cWe\u2019re just happy to be here to watch [The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em>].\u201d<\/p>\n

Sprouse initially met the Victoria\u2019s Secret and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue<\/em> model at a party in 2017 before reconnecting through social media a few months later. Palvin revealed in June 2023 that Sprouse had recently popped the question after five years together.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the power invested in V I am a Sprouse to be \ud83d\udc70\ud83c\udffb\u200d\u2640\ufe0f,\u201d she joked, referring the couple\u2019s joint V Magazine<\/em> photo shoot.<\/p>\n

In the magazine\u2019s engagement-themed profile, Sprouse clarified that he actually proposed in September 2022, but the couple chose to celebrate privately for nearly a year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe didn\u2019t necessarily feel the need to be fully transparent with the public about that aspect of our engagement,\u201d he explained. \u201cWhat we wanted to do with Stephen and the V team is make something that was kind of tongue-in-cheek about the nature of private versus public. We\u2019re playing with the idea of perception.\u201d<\/p>\n
