Riccardo Calafiori\u2019s Arsenal are fighting for the Champions League title, but the Italian defender\u2019s return to action remains unknown, according to UK sources.<\/p>\n

Latest Calafiori injury update<\/h2>\n

Italy international Calafiori missed Arsenal\u2019s 2-1 loss against Manchester City on Sunday, and it remains uncertain whether he will be available when the Gunners host Sando Tonali\u2019s Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium next Saturday.<\/p>\n

While The Standard reports that the nature of Calafiori\u2019s injury remains unclear, Football London claims that the ex-Roma and Bologna defender is dealing with a foot injury.<\/p>\n

Calafiori has missed the last three games across all competitions with Arsenal, making his most recent appearance in the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Sporting CP on April 7, when he played the full 90 minutes.<\/p>\n
