\n\tEXCLUSIVE: <\/strong>\u00a0United Talent Agency has inked two-time Emmy Award winner, 4x Actor Award winner, and Oscar-nominated actor William H. Macy for representation in all areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tMacy\u2019s feature work includes his Oscar Best Supporting Actor nominated turn in the Coen Brothers\u2019 2x Academy Award winning Fargo <\/em>as well as Paul Thomas Anderson pics Boogie Nights<\/em> and\u00a0Magnolia<\/em>. Macy rallied on Showtime\u2019s\u00a0Shameless,\u00a0<\/em>where he played main character, Frank Gallagher, from 2011 to 2021, on which he received six Emmy noms.\u00a0Macy won two Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actor in Miniseries\/Movie as well as Writing in that category for the TV movie, Door to Door. <\/em><\/p>\n \n\tMacy is currently in production on Dan Fogelman\u2019s new series\u00a0The Land\u00a0<\/em>for Hulu, starring opposite Christopher Meloni and Mandy Moore. In the series he plays Hank Durkin, the owner of a professional football team based in Cleveland, often referred to as \u201cThe Land.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tMacy also starred recently as Arn Peeples in the Oscar-nominated Netflix film\u00a0Train Dreams<\/em>. The duo met when Macy was a student at Goddard College in Vermont where Mamet was teaching.
