Summer House<\/em>\u2019s Jesse Solomon<\/strong> had some suspicions that Amanda Batula<\/strong> and West Wilson<\/strong> were dating before they officially went public.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was a lot of just, like, flirting,\u201d Jesse, 32, said on the Tuesday, April 21, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em>.<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cThe boys went to brunch one day, and West went to brunch with Amanda after and didn\u2019t tell us he was going to brunch with her.\u201d<\/p>\n Another time, Jesse said he and Amanda\u2019s estranged husband Kyle Cooke<\/strong> \u201cran into them at a bar,\u201d saying that encounter took place around March, before Amanda, 34, and West, 31, went public with their burgeoning relationship.<\/p>\n Jesse added, \u201cWest and Amanda went to dinner without me in Miami when we were all there at the same time. Originally, I was just, like, offended, but then it made sense later. That was late Feb.\u201d<\/p>\n Amanda and West first confirmed their budding romance in a joint March 31 Instagram statement, just two months after Amanda announced her separation from Kyle, 43.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,\u201d they said at the time. \u201cIt was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what\u2019s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,\u201d Amanda and West continued. \u201cOur connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,\u201d their statement concluded. \u201cWe also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.
