Denise Richards<\/strong>\u2019 daughter, Sami Sheen<\/strong>, is sharing an emotional tribute to her mom\u2019s late friend and ex-boyfriend, Patrick Muldoon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cPatrick was someone that everyone loved. He was so quick-witted and humble but still made sure everyone knew he was a rock star and never cared what people thought about him,\u201d Sami, 22, wrote in an Instagram Story post on Tuesday, April 21.<\/p>\n

Sami continued, \u201cFrom day 1 till the last day I saw him, he\u2019s never changed. I\u2019ve been lucky enough to grow up with him and I have yet to live my life without him. The friendship him and my mom had was so beautiful & something not many people get to experience. He will be missed every single day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope I wake up from this nightmare soon,\u201d she added, reposting her mom\u2019s tribute to Muldoon.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDenise Richards and Patrick Muldoon shared a bond spanning more than three decades before his sudden death in April 2026 at age 57 following a heart attack. Through short-lived romance in the \u201990s, a deep friendship and a reality TV reunion, Richards never held back about what the man she called \u201cschweet babe\u201d meant to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sami shared another post via her Instagram Stories of a cloud shaped like a heart. She wrote alongside it, \u201cRight after he passed, I was sitting outside begging for a sign from him to let us know that he\u2019s okay and made it to the other side, and then a couple minutes later I looked up and saw this in the sky. Can\u2019t be a coincidence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Muldoon died at age 57 on Sunday, April 19, after suffering a heart attack. The actor appeared in several movies alongside Richards, 55, including 1997\u2019s Starship Troopers<\/em>,\u00a0and the pair remained close friends up until his death.<\/p>\n

In her own tribute to Muldoon on Tuesday, Richards wrote via Instagram, \u201cThis is so hard for me to put into words. I am deeply heartbroken & devastated losing you. You were my best friend & my family. We met in our first acting class, I was 19 never had an acting job and you were 21 a student at USC doing a recurring role on Who\u2019s the Boss<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe friendship, love, support, respect & loyalty we had was unconditional and rare,\u201d Richards wrote. \u201cYou lit up every room you walked into. You are larger than life & everyone was drawn to you. So talented & most underrated actor. And most humble. Everything you did was infectious. Your laugh, your kindness, your wit, your strength, your loyalty, your passion and your zest for life. We\u2019ve been each other\u2019s rock.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richards and Muldoon briefly dated in the late 1990s, before she wed actor Charlie Sheen<\/strong>, with whom the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> alum shares daughters Sami and Lola<\/strong>, 20.<\/p>\n
