\n\tNearly a decade after Girls<\/em> ended its six-season run, Lena Dunham might take matters into her own hands to bring the show back.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Golden Globe winner recently revealed she has \u201ca little plot line in my brain\u201d and has been in contact with the cast via a group text chain about reuniting when the series is \u201cappropriately missed.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI would love to do it, and I have to say, I got a little plot line in my brain. I do,\u201d she admitted on SiriusXM\u2019s Radio Andy. \u201cIt\u2019s impossible not to think about where they are now. I will text with\u2013I have a new chain with the girls and Andrew [Rannells] called \u2018Survivors of the Crackcident.\u2019 Jemima [Kirke] will pop in with the best take on like, Jess is really into RFK Jr.\u2019 and you\u2019re like, \u2018Of course she is. Of course she is.\u2019 She does not want anyone getting vaccines. She is pissed.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tDunham added, \u201cI just see them, and also, those are my muses. So, I think it\u2019s an obvious thing. We don\u2019t want to come back to the party too early. We want to be appropriately missed.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tReferencing the Miley Cyrus method of \u201cpromote it before it exists,\u201d which recently resulted in Disney+ getting on board with the Disney alum\u2019s Hannah Montana<\/em> 20th anniversary special, Dunham attempted to force HBO\u2018s hand.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWell, there\u2019s a Girls<\/em> movie, HBO Max!\u201d joked Dunham. \u201cI would be delighted.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tDunham has recently reflected on her time on the HBO series in her memoir Famesick<\/em>, which is now available. She created and starred in Girls<\/em> as millennial writer Hannah Horvath, navigating her 20s in New York City with friends played by Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet.
