Darrell Sheets<\/strong>\u2019 rival from Storage Wars<\/em>, Rene Nezhoda<\/strong>, claimed that the late reality star was bullied online before his death.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not an easy video to shoot. Unfortunately, Darrell Sheets took his own life. So he passed away,\u201d Nezhoda said in a video obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, April 22. \u201cI know a lot of you guys think we hated each other because we competed a lot on the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nezhoda continued, \u201cWe had our moments, we had our run-ins but that\u2019s because we were both competitors \u2026 we\u2019re the biggest threats out there. So deep down, me and Darrell were friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nezhoda shared that he and Sheets \u201ctalked every now and then.\u201d He remembered his costar as \u201ca very hard worker that cared more than anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to paying tribute to his late friend, Nezhoda claimed that Streets was a victim of cyberbullying.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know Darrell would want something positive out of this. He had a guy really tormenting him lately on cyberbullying,\u201d he said in the clip. \u201cJust cause you watch us on television doesn\u2019t mean you know us \u2026 it doesn\u2019t mean you know what we\u2019re about. Also it doesn\u2019t entitle you to bully somebody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nezhoda added that no one has the right to bully anyone \u2014 whether they\u2019re a public figure or not.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou shouldn\u2019t cyberbully at all. As a matter of fact. If you have somebody in your life that thinks its fun to cyberbully other people, maybe a celebrity athlete or a little girl or school or schoolmate, slap [them] in the back of the head,\u201d he said. \u201cMake them become a better human being, because you never know what demons somebody faces and what they go through and what you might push them through.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed that Sheets died on Wednesday due to an apparent suicide. He was 67.<\/p>\n
