Police in Arizona are investigating claims that Storage Wars<\/em> star Darrell Sheets<\/strong> was bullied online before his death by apparent suicide.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are aware of these cyberbullying accusations and that is a part of the active investigation,\u201d a spokesperson for Arizona\u2019s Lake Havasu Police Department told TMZ and other outlets on Wednesday, April 22.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to the Lake Havasu Police Department for comment.<\/p>\n

Lake Havasu PD previously confirmed to Us<\/em> that Sheets was found dead inside his home early Wednesday morning. He was 67.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe cast of A&E\u2019s reality series Storage Wars has come together to mourn their late costar Darrell Sheets following his death at age 67 from suicide. Lake Havasu City, Arizona, police confirmed to Us Weekly on April 22 that officers responded to calls about a \u201creported deceased individual\u201d earlier in the day and subsequently \u201cpronounced [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOn April 22, 2026, at approximately 0200 hours, officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Chandler Drive in reference to a reported deceased individual,\u201d the department said in a statement. \u201cUpon arrival, officers located a male subject who suffered from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The male was pronounced deceased on scene, and the Lake Havasu City Police Department\u2019s Criminal Investigations Unit was notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the police, Sheets\u2019 body was \u201cturned over to the Mohave County Medical Examiner\u2019s office for further investigation. The male subject has been identified as Darrell Sheets, a 67-year-old resident of Lake Havasu City and Darrell\u2019s family has been notified. This incident remains under active investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later on Wednesday, Sheets\u2019 former Storage Wars<\/em> costar Rene Nezhoda<\/strong> claimed in an Instagram video that Sheets was subjected to intense cyberbullying before his death.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had a guy really tormenting him lately on cyberbullying,\u201d he said in the video. \u201cJust \u2019cause you watch us on television doesn\u2019t mean you know us \u2026 it doesn\u2019t mean you know what we\u2019re about. Also it doesn\u2019t entitle you to bully somebody.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou shouldn\u2019t cyberbully at all. As a matter of fact. If you have somebody in your life that thinks it\u2019s fun to cyberbully other people, maybe a celebrity athlete or a little girl or school or schoolmate, slap [them] in the back of the head,\u201d Nezhoda<\/span> said. \u201cMake them become a better human being, because you never know what demons somebody faces and what they go through and what you might push them through.\u201d<\/p>\n
