I wish that were clickbait [and] I wish that were false, but that is what happened,\u201d Bode, 25, said in a <span class=\"s1\">TikTok<\/span> video shared Thursday, April 23, tagging Southern Airways in her caption. \u201cAs long as airlines are s***y, I\u2019m going to continue talking about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">She continued, \u201cFor my other disabled peers out there, do not fly Southern Airways. I had never heard of Southern Airways [or] Airlines before. It\u2019s extremely, extremely small and they think, because they are so small, that disabled passengers couldn\u2019t possibly fly with them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><i>Us Weekly <\/i>has reached out to Southern Airways for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cPicture this: I have a speaking engagement in a very small town in Pennsylvania. My first flight was with United,\u201d Bode, who played Nessarose Thropp in the <i>Wicked<\/i> movies, recalled. \u201cI was very sleep-deprived, so naturally, I was looking forward to clonking out on my second connecting flight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">According to Bode, flying Southern Airways was her \u201conly option\u201d to travel into the small Pennsylvania town.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cBecause I was traveling with United first and then transferring over to Southern for my second flight, the boarding pass situation was strange,\u201d the actress alleged. \u201cI just didn\u2019t see it on my ticket or within my phone [via] the United app. I just couldn\u2019t find it virtually. You\u2019re telling me none of the people that have flown on your plane before are disabled?\u2019 They said, \u2018No, even the elderly have a hard time getting up those stairs.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">She continued, \u201cDisabled people are not an afterthought. Knowing that disabled people exist, which y\u2019all clearly often forget, do you choose not to update your planes?
