Jamie Lynn Spears\u2019<\/strong> daughter Maddie<\/strong> is all grown up!<\/p>\n
Taking to Instagram on Friday, April 24, Jamie Lynn, 35, got emotional as she reflected on motherhood ahead of Maddie\u2019s high school graduation.<\/p>\n
\u201cWelp\u2026.the grad invites are sent, the cap and gown arrived, and the last regular day of school is here\u2026.I guess the lovely state of denial that I forced myself to be in has to end, bc the reality of time is coming at me like a freight train,\u201d Jamie Lynn wrote of Maddie, 17.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know the saying \u2018the days are long, but the years are short\u2019 is one of the most cliche sayings, bc it\u2019s said so much, but I now know that cliches are only said so much bc they continue to ring true in every lifetime throughout the test of time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jamie Lynn, who is the younger sister of Britney Spears<\/strong>, went on to describe how much it meant to her to watch her daughter grow up.<\/p>\n
\u201cHaving the privilege of watching your children grow up is one of the most beautiful & fulfilling things we can experience as humans, and I am so grateful for each every up & down moment throughout the journey of motherhood this far,\u201d she wrote. \u201cIt\u2019s bittersweet, bc you\u2019re so proud of everything they have accomplished this far, and so excited to watch everything that their future will bring, while also longing for them to stay your baby forever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

She added, \u201cI know I\u2019m one of luckiest mamas in the world, so I\u2019ll stop my rambling now, until I completely lose it on graduation day.\u201d<\/p>\n
In 2007, Jamie Lynn found out that she was pregnant with her first baby when she was still a teenager and starring on Nickelodeon series Zoey 101.<\/em><\/p>\n
\n\t\t\tJamie Lynn Spears is celebrating a milestone moment for daughter Maddie. Spears, 33, shared a carousel of photos via Instagram on Sunday, March 30, featuring Maddie, 16, in a floor-length lilac Sherri Hill dress with a thigh-high split. Maddie paired the look with metallic Christian Louboutin heels, styling her hair in a half-up, half-down \u2018do. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Jamie Lynn and ex-boyfriend Casey Aldridge<\/strong> welcomed Maddie in June 2008. (Jamie Lynn also shares daughter Ivey Joan, 8, with husband Jamie Watson,<\/strong> who she married in March 2014.)<\/p>\n

The Sweet Magnolias<\/em> star opened up to Dopple<\/em> in 2019 about what it was like being a young mom and how her outlook on parenting evolved over time.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t feel like a young mom at all now, but I guess that\u2019s because I had my first daughter so very young. I used to be insecure at times, because I was always the youngest mom in the room,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n
She added, \u201cI quickly learned that being a good and competent mother has nothing to do with age. I have met some of the most wonderful amazing moms who are anywhere from 20 years old to 50 years old, so young or old, love is all it\u2019s really about.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
